Self-Control or jisei 自制 in Japanese is one tenet of bushido. It can also mean self-restraint. On the front is a calligraphic version of the kanji and a hand-drawn picture of two samurais facing off in a duel. The back is imprinted with the artist's name seal right below the neck.
